Providence is calling a Program Manager, Evaluation & Reporting to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Program Manager, Evaluation & Reporting to be responsible for establishing, operationalizing and optimizing evaluation and reporting systems for Providence St. Joseph Health's Community Partnerships division. Working with division leadership and across functional areas, the Program Manager ensures investments and program activities are materially improving communities served, leaders have data and analysis to improve service delivery and impact, and that that attainment of strategic goals is transparently monitored.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provides program management leadership to key initiatives spanning the Community Partnerships division, and in collaboration with other strategic functions and leadership groups across the system. Synthesizes division initiatives to establish top-line performance measures and indicators.
Designs and manages division-wide performance evaluation systems and structures to support leadership and program activities.
Works collaboratively with division leadership and teams to establish performance standards, metrics, reporting tools, and ongoing monitoring/feedback loops. Continually engages leadership and teams to ensure efforts are optimized, responsive to current developments, and maintain focus over time.
Deepens team members understanding of evaluation and measurement systems, and supports expanded use of data and analysis across division.
Coordinates opportunities for data sharing and collaboration across the organization, with specific focus on key initiatives in collaboration with the Population Health division.
Develops effective structures for monitoring and assessing the relative value of various community investments in improving overall community health. Supports development of community health needs assessments and community health improvement plans.
Supports expert-to-expert collaborations across the division's varied functional areas, with a priority on assisting local markets with understanding best practices and improvement areas.
Participates in strategic planning and key operating councils, with an accountability for informing the design and operationalization of performance standards, metrics and monitoring structures.
Assists and/or leads in the development of annual reports, customer satisfaction and project evaluations, public reporting, and program improvement.
Identifies, leads and/or supports efforts to increase external understanding of PSJH's Community Partnerships activities, including developing article submissions, proposals, presentations and communications material.
Establishes tools for visualizing performance levels and making large areas of program activity easily understandable for senior leadership.
Works with key external groups to develop innovative collaborations around the measurement and reporting of program impact and areas of need.
Demonstrates effective interactions and positive interpersonal skills in dealing with fellow employees, supervisors, stakeholders, other department caregivers and vendors to maximize productivity and positive relationships.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
4 years of experience developing, managing and optimizing program measurement, evaluation or reporting systems.
Experience in working with virtual teams.
Experience in establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external customers, client management and consulting skills.
Possesses a balanced understanding of healthcare financial, operational, and human dimensions.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems or difficulties while retaining strong and effective working relationships staying calm and objective under the stress of deadlines and obstacles.
Demonstrated communication and writing skills. Ability to make complexity understandable across various audiences.
Demonstrated track record of working with diverse organizations toward common goals.
Skilled communicator adept at ensuring team understanding of direction and goals.
Possesses a balanced understanding of clinical, business, and management requirements for various types of healthcare services, including knowledge of integrated delivery systems and managed care organizations.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
3 years of experience in a healthcare or similarly complex organization.
