Spectranetics, recently named “Most Trusted Companies”, has an opening for an R&D Test Engineer I/II.
What You Will Do: Working under the oversight of experienced engineers, you will be a contributing member of a technical team developing new, innovative surgical products. Your tasks will include: design documentation creation and management; and test protocol development, execution, and data analysis of all design aspects for safety, efficacy, and reliability. You will perform your duties as an integral member of a multi-functional team working to develop all aspects of the new product in a highly collaborative environment.

What Success Looks Like:
Key Duties, Responsibilities, and skills include:
Produce prototypes for evaluation, development, and test, which may include assembly and machining.
Execute designed engineering studies, analyze data, provide recommendations.
Recognize errors or discrepancies in data and propose explanations for the discrepancies.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Working understanding of electrical systems
Experience with LabView
Experience with data acquisition systems and test equipment
Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and data

Laboratory Test Equipment
Four year degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent skills and experience
Demonstrated communications skills to enable effective contribution as a member of a multi-functional team is essential
