The team are responsible for department charge audits/analysis, ability to investigate and resolve charging and coding issues, as well as staying abreast of all changes related to billing/coding compliance. The Revenue Integrity analyst will be able to conduct defense audits within the organization to ensure compliant charging and billing processes. We are seeking driven, qualified individuals who can put their skills and knowledge to work, positively impacting our revenue cycle.
Job summary: Responsible for reviewing and ensuring proper reimbursement and revenue capture of assigned product line(s). Coordinates processes between clinical operations and revenue cycle departments ensuring that the accounts audited reflect proper documentation, charge capture, coding, billing and payment. Candidate will be able to assist with facilities implementation of changes in regulations.
(4) year college graduate or (2) year degree or equivalent, coding or audit certification preferred or candidate must have in place of a college degree 7+ years of hospital or clinic revenue cycle experience with a certification such as CPC or CPMA
5-7 years in hospital setting, clinic setting, or insurance company managing revenue/reimbursement functions will ensure a successful candidate
Ability to research CMS and federal register sites without difficulty
PC knowledge for daily use (MS Office)
The successful candidate will possess:
Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Care reimbursement
Working knowledge of Hospital IP/OP coding and/or Physician coding
Hunger for proper revenue/reimbursement capture
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills required
