Weill Cornell Medicine seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, reporting to the Operations Administrator, to manage all aspects of research-related projects for the Center for Perioperative Outcomes (CPO). Working in collaboration with the CPO leadership team and CPO staff, the Research Manager will establish a vigorous and collaborative outcomes research division. Goals include increased funding through grants and contracts, publication of research in high impact journals, and presentation at national and international conferences. The Manager will have tangential oversight to Quality Improvement work and will ensure strong methodological processes throughout the Center. The Manager will manage research staff and also mentor junior faculty, fellows, residents, CPO staff and, colleagues across various departments to facilitate outcomes research.
Master's degree in healthcare, technology, or related field.
At least 5 years of related experience in outcomes research including large administrative and retrospective databases.
A history of successful research funding and relevant publications in high impact journals.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to execute a strategic vision.
Strong knowledge of statistical methods and programs such as SAS, R, Stata.

Experience with projects based in SQL or Tableau.
