The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the clinical, operational, and financial activities within at least 5 ambulatory care programs across 4 clinical departments. Works collaboratively with the physician chair/chief, other Medical Center departments, management, the Clinical Practice Association, faculty and other stakeholders to ensure: timely patient access to care, operational efficiency, practice productivity, fiscal integrity and patient satisfaction.
Primary responsibilities include: human resources management, practice business development, daily operational efficiency, effectiveness and regulatory compliance. Ensures the effective, safe and therapeutic nursing services meet established Medical Center and accrediting agency regulations and guidelines. Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business management, medical technology, or other closely related field required. Master's degree preferred. Three years management experience with at least one in an outpatient setting preferred. Advanced degree may substitute for experience.
