About our region
The Tidelands region includes the tourist mecca of Myrtle Beach, the nation's second-fastest growing market, and the quiet, relaxed living of smaller communities along the Hammock Coast. Beautiful beaches are the region's calling card, but don't forget our marshes and rivers -- an outdoor enthusiast's dream. All the fun of Myrtle Beach is nearby, as is the beauty, charm and amazing cuisine of Charleston, recently named the world's best city by the readers of Travel + Leisure.
