Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator \(1\.0 FTE, Day Shift\) to work for the Community Specialty Clinic at Swedish First Hill located in Seattle, WA\.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of front office clerical and support tasks within an outpatient setting\. Primary responsibilities include patient registration, patient scheduling and customer service activities\.
In this position you will:
Perform timely and accurate registration and check\-in of arriving patients\. Notify appropriate staff of patient arrival\. Print and distribute admit forms as necessary
Answer and triage incoming phone calls\. Schedule patients for upcoming appointments on the enterprise scheduling application
Process all incoming departmental mail\. Login outside films upon arrival utilizing the Radiology Information System
Attend and participate in the marketing, promotional and educational activities of Swedish Medical Center and the Breast Care Center, serving as a proponent of such
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Education or GED
Minimum 6 months of recent receptionist or front desk experience in a health care field
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Medical records experience
Experience with computerized scheduling or relational databases
