ResponsibilitiesWe are recruiting for two openings total. Working under the direction of the Application Manager, the Application Analyst (AA) functions as the primary build expert to configure, build and install Care Everywhere and EpicCare Link and/or assigned projects. The AA will perform in depth and precise investigation and documentation of future- state operational specifications and application functionality. The AA must have in-depth knowledge of the Epic software application as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application. The AA develops and documents internal procedures, collects information and prepares specifications of system enhancements, analyzes functionality in new releases and tests each new release. The AA also assists in the development of user training aids and may train end users in workflow and use of the application. AA functions as the primary contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users during training, go-live and stabilization periods.
QualificationsEpicCare Certified in Ambulatory or Inpatient - required Three years of experience in a healthcare related organization - required EpicCare Certified in EpicCare Link and Care Everywhere - preferred Web services experience - preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Excellent project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan Experience with Epic application implementations Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design Prior experience with IT systems and systems development projects Demonstrated proficiency with information systems technology including Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet and other systems Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation Demonstrated ability to influence and shape consensus, leading group discussions and presenting in front of groups of clinical and business operations leaders from across the organization Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain a spirit of cooperation and respect, flourish in an unstructured environment, and always engage in professional and ethical conduct Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations
