Job Summary This position has primary responsibility for the management of information system projects and service support, including system selection, contract negotiation, and system implementation. Establishes and manages work plans for support of information systems, to include support of system-wide system applications to achieve agreed upon operations objectives, including the integration to other applications, as well as products to be acquired in the future.
This position will collaborate with operational groups to prioritize, implement, and support IT projects that align with the HonorHealth strategic vision. This position will be expected to assist with assessing current state of departments and collaborating to choose the optimal software to fit the network's needs today and in the future.
This position is also responsible for the recruitment and management of qualified FTEs and consultants assigned to system projects and system application service support. This position assures minimum standards for documentation, backup, operations control and maintenance of information systems are adhered to throughout the organization. This position also requires strict adherence to budget management and guidelines.
Manages multiple projects by supervising all activities' of the Project Team and Project Managers to ensure that project goals and objectives are achieved.
Continuously improves all processes and services that support the care of our patients.
Develops and manages multiple project budgets, timelines and deliverables.
Manages resources (include both internal and external personnel), work products and time schedules for agreed to projects.
Leads and supervises application design, development, maintenance and other maintenance activities' in compliance with IT standards of best practice.
Assists the AVP Enterprise Applications & Informatics in developing and presenting annual IT budgets and strategy.
Serves as primary point of accountability for ensuring the adequacy of features available from operational computer applications based on agreed plans developed through the Committees of Effective Use of Technology structure.
Defines, leads, and elevates staff job performance. Responsible for developing, leading, and retaining a multi-specialty application team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
