Southern Oregon Cardiology (SOC) is looking for a chief executive officer (CEO). The position will be based at the Medford, Oregon office. The CEO position provides strategic leadership, sets the culture, direction and administration of all aspects of the practice activities and the cardiovascular service line. Develops and monitors organizational practice in conjunction with other management personnel, the SOC Board of Directors and the CVSL Joint Management Council.
The position is directly responsible for the overall operation of the organization, financial management, contract relations, as well as activities that relate to future growth of the organization, e.g., strategic planning and marketing. The position oversees all management personnel who have direct responsibility for daily operations and all activities of clinic staff. Management staff includes a chief operating officer, a director of finance and IT, a business office manager and a front office manager.
The CEO position reports directly to the SOC Board President. The position is an ex officio member of the CVSL Joint Management Council and the joint venture cath lab Board of Directors. This position also resides on several CVSL committees and population health committees.
Bachelor Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or Public Health required. Master Degree or CPA preferred.
Professional development courses in health care management.
Experience: Seven years of executive level experience including five years of experience in the administration of a major clinic. Prefer prior experience in cardiology clinic.
Certificate/License: Preferred candidates with CMPE or FACMPE accreditation through American College of Medical Practice Executives or FACHE certification through the American College of Health Care Executives.

SOC has several cardiac areas including general cardiology, pediatric cardiology, interventional, structural heart (including TAVR), peripheral vascular, electrophysiology and cardiology research.
