Job Title: Provider Network Data & Reporting Analyst Intermediate

The Intermediate Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for the independent design, re-design, production, audit, and analysis of operational reports and models for Provider Network Management (PNM). Primary responsibilities will be to provide business intelligence by segment, product, etc. to support compliant network expansions and management plans for all GHP products. Accountable for generating and analyzing GeoAccess and Disruption Analysis for Sales and Account Management, as well as interpreting network data and providing recommendations to senior leadership as needed. Responsible for the structure, design, and integrity of all data within the Vistar System. Serves as a liaison between vendor, Vistar end users, IT, and Provider Network Management staff.

Education and or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field required. Three years of related business experience in healthcare, data reporting and/or data analysis experience required.
Associate’s degree and five years business experience in a managed care or hospital environment required.
Minimum nine years business experience in a managed care or hospital environment required.
Experience completing data analysis using Business Intelligence software and reporting tools required.
Proficiency and expertise in Health Plan data application, business intelligence software and reporting tools that include, but are not limited to, MS SQL Server Components, SQL Language, Business Objects, and Microsoft Excel, Access Word, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Ability to work during peak periods.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Occasional bending and lifting up to 10 lbs. may be required.
Ability to travel to facilities who are part of the Plan partnership
