Manages the operations of the GHP Family and GHP Kids organizational unit. Assures the leadership of GHP Government Programs that GHP Family and GHP Kids are functioning within DPW and PID assigned parameters and compliance standards. Assists all GHP department leadership in understanding and complying with changing or new DPW Medical Assistance or PID CHIP standards.
Reports directly to the AVP of State Government Programs; supervises the GHP Family Government Liaison/Compliance Coordinator and the GHP Family Benefits Analyst.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.S. in business administration, health administration or related field required.
Minimum five years management experience in a healthcare environment with a proven ability to develop effective programs, manage resources, and project milestones to deliver effective, integrated solutions on time and within budget required. Eight years additional experience in managed care or health care related field may be substituted for the degree.
Previous supervisory experience required. Experience with complex computer applications and healthcare data retrieval, analysis, interpretation, and explanation required. Significant experience using project management software is preferred
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel is required.
