The Talent Management Consultant in this role develops and implements strategies within the Career and Performance Management content area of Talent Management. The Talent Management Consultant partners with business leaders and HR business partners to determine needs, develop strategies, and demonstrate current effectiveness through a consistent application of the overarching development philosophy. The Talent Management consultant will assist in the design and implementation of in-house and vendor-provided development programs using a variety of delivery methods including but not limited to classroom, individual, self-paced, and technology-based learning. The Talent Management Consultant will also analyze data and manage projects while building successful relationships with our International and domestic Ministries.
Coordinates agendas and assists with logistics associated with various learning activities of the Career and Performance Management Team, including Emerging Leaders, Leadership and Ethics Academy, and other programs.
Manages coordination of performance management initiatives and processes to include processes and reporting practices managed inside the organization's performance management platform.
Review and improve integration between different development programs to ensure strategic design of learning initiatives.
Responsible for developing, curating, and monitoring completion of the Emerging Leaders and Leadership and Ethics Academy programs.
Collaborates with the Talent Management Leadership Team to assess system-wide or ministry-specific learning and development needs.
Manage relationships with stakeholders and customers for better understanding of the business requirements in supporting development needs.
Analyzing feedback, data reports, and metrics from multiple sources (engagement surveys, focus groups, program evaluation surveys, retention and promotion data, etc).
Conducts research to remain up-to-date on best practices related to leadership development, career pathing, and performance management.
Advise the Manager of Career and Performance Management with respect to issues and needs.
Advise, coach, and counsel Associates, managers, and business leaders about career and performance management.
Deliver informal and formal learning solutions in a manner that both engages the learner and produces the desired outcomes.
Manages and responds to learner needs.
Ensures learning is made available in appropriate platforms and delivered in a timely and effective manner.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Manager of Career and Performance Management.
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field required.
Previous experience in a Strategic Human Resources or Talent Management role.
Demonstrated experience in getting things done through networking and collaboration in a complex, matrixed environment.
Knowledge of content area including theory, methods, and concepts. Ability to translate theory, methods, and concepts into understandable, tangible designs that deliver measurable results.
Technical expertise in mapping training needs requirements against business goals and objectives.
Knowledge of needs assessment methodologies, design alternatives, training evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Effective presentation skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating training programs.
