We are recruiting for a Learning Technologies Consultant to join our Leadership Development Team in Louisville, Kentucky.
Responsible for all aspects of training and development efforts including, needs assessment, consulting with internal customers, training program development, training delivery, and post training evaluations. In addition, capable of consulting with internal customers regarding training solutions.
Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Responsible for one or more of the following based on annual business objectives: all aspects of curriculum development, training program design/development, evaluation tools and analysis, train-the-trainer, etc. This will include:
Needs Assessment, Development, and Training Implementation with Quality Assurance
Develop and utilize needs assessment tools and consulting skills to determine training solvable issues
Develop and conduct training programs in interpersonal, management and leadership
Develop post training evaluation surveys and provide reporting of summary results
Create and promote training programs
Manage vendor relationships (with due diligence) and vendor solutions
Creation of curriculum for advancing levels of management
Development of training program materials, instructor guides, and train-the-trainer
Create and maintain various presentations used as part of the curriculum group and ensure materials remain up to date and consistent with organization business strategies
Develop and assist with Corporate University
Supplemental Field User Training
Organize supplemental systems training for all lines of business and Corporate.
Includes scheduling, securing instructors, reserving training rooms, organizing materials.
Manage the Supplemental training program. Includes publication of offerings, student registration, administration, class evaluations, and communications.
Serve as an instructor for appropriate training classes. Training may be face to face or through virtual classroom technologies (Webinars, e-learning, conference calls, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency in training roles, including development of assessment tools and personal developmental plans.
Sound background and experience with curriculum development for trainers and instructors
Working, highly functional knowledge of computer systems, multimedia services and other technical tools generally used to support training processes.
Capability to work independently, delivering appropriate feedback to management as required.
Excellent communication/general business skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel.
Ability to deal with large number of tasks simultaneously.
Proven project management skills, with focus on-time, quality results.
Position should require little day-to-day supervision.
Knowledge of e-learning and development tools. Knowledge of Corp. University approaches
Creativity and forward thinking for courseware design and implementation of enterprise-wide-e-learning solutions.
Strong research skills for identification of enhanced and expanded development tools.
Experience with managing the RFP process.
Strong, polished presentation skills.
Proven success with establishing and maintaining vendor relationships.
Strong interpersonal skills
Advanced computer skills and a solid foundation to quickly learn new software programs.
Ability to develop, document, and maintain standards for training content lifecycle.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, education or equivalent experience.
At least 5-7 years of related business work experience in training and development
Highly developed skills in creating PowerPoint training presentations and creating report via Excel
Depending on a candidate's qualifications, this position may be filled at a different level.
