Strategic sourcing Manager � Purchased Service & OCE: This position will report to the Senior Director of Purchased Services & OCE at the Tenet Headquarters in Dallas, TX. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be tasked with leading sourcing initiatives for services contracted within the organization. This position will also be tasked with optimizing current contracted agreements for service. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive relationship with vendors and key operational stakeholders. The Strategic Sourcing Manager should have a track record of success for successfully managing RFPs, build templates, review bids, and provide analysis on contract proposals. Specific Job Duties include: � Manage Strategic Sourcing Projects for services that are contracted within the organization. � Execute project plan for vendor optimization opportunities. � Manage contract proposal reviews, to include redlines. � Hold individuals involved in projects accountable for deliverables as needed � Provide project updates to leadership regarding active bids and bid calendar. � Project manage sourcing initiatives, to include developing bid calendar for assigned RFPs. � Analyze vendor bids, contracts, and savings proposals. � Maintain positive vendor relationships while also holding vendors accountable to contractual requirements and expectations. Qualifications: BA/BS required, 10+ years of sourcing experience can substitute for Bachelor�s degree. Procurement, Finance, Purchased Service and Implementation experience are required. In depth experience of procurement and strategic sourcing, methodology, tools, and techniques required to manage the strategic sourcing and category management process. Healthcare strategic sourcing or contracting experience preferred. Excel skills are a must, as well as proficiency of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. The selected candidate will have demonstrated an ability to successfully drive sustainable change through project management and/or strategic sourcing in a complex environment. Excellent interpersonal skills; a dedicated listener, comfortable in a variety of settings dealing with diverse constituencies; a broad thinker. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. Candidate must have excellent communications skills, ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Ability to work well under pressure, successfully prioritizing projects, effectively managing time and tasks, to include stakeholder expectations, are a must..
