Responsible for all accounting functions to be performed in an auditable fashion for assigned areas. This includes monthly financial reporting and analysis of GC Research operating results. Assists in improving the efficiency of accounting procedures.
Responsive to the information needs of Administrators, Principal Investigators, and Finance Management.
Works under the direct supervision of the Manager, Research Finance, with direction from the Financial Reporting Director of Research/Foundation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or related business field required. Minimum of five years of accounting, auditing, or relevant financial experience required.
Master’s degree finance, business administration, accounting or related business field required. Minimum of three years of accounting, auditing, or relevant financial experience required.
Grants management experience and knowledge of OMB Circulars A110, A122, and A133 preferred.
** If a suitably experienced candidate cannot be found, applicants who meet the basic qualifications but possess fewer years of experience will be considered for hire at a lower level. Salary would commensurate with experience.
