Par8o is seeking a full-time, experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to own lead generation and nurture for its 340B solution, which helps community health centers uncover additional 340B funding - a vital part of the US healthcare system that helps provide care to the uninsured and under-insured. Your primary objective will be to create a continuous stream of high-quality prospects to hand off to our National Director of Sales by way of cold calling and email outreach to marketing-qualified leads.
This role requires, above all, the ability to hustle - while maintaining a people-first, low-pressure approach to sales, which includes generating and scrubbing contact lists, using sequences to support your daily activities and goals, explaining our value proposition in a clear and compelling way, being able to address potential objections with grace, and bringing qualified leads to our sales executives for a demo and presentation.
We have seen that our clients benefit from frequent outreach, so you will need to continually nurture them to move them down the funnel. As a part of that, you will also need to have meticulous attention to detail - logging contact attempts/connections and analyzing data in Hubspot, our CRM of choice. In addition, you’ll need to feel comfortable in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, adjusting your pitch as we expand/modify this product line.
You must be an enthusiastic team player with exceptional phone communication skills and the ability to understand different buying personas, position and communicate the value of our solution, and persuade new business prospects to learn more.
In addition to sales outreach, you will have the opportunity to expand into client success on the operations side with various projects and duties as our client base grows. Flexibility and adaptability are highly beneficial traits for this position.

Assume primary responsibility for the top of the funnel: source and nurture leads via phone and email that originate from a variety of sources -- partner sales channels, conferences, webinars and referrals -- with the ultimate goal of scheduling (and rescheduling!) demos with the executive sales team
Track all interactions in Hubspot - our CRM tool of choice
Continuously assess what’s working and what’s not
Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, positioning, trade show approach and attendance, webinar topics, collateral, and overall team strategy
Deliver a clear and enticing elevator pitch describing par8o’s solution
Work with the marketing director to outline and maintain sales drip communications and follow-up
Own engaged prospect follow-up
Develop and maintain relationships that produce referral business opportunities
Generate weekly and monthly reports describing activity
Travel up to 20% to industry tradeshows
Minimum BA/BS in Business Administration, or similar degree
Preferred 3+ years sales experience within the healthcare industry (Marketing, Business Development)
Experience with cold-calling and email outreach as lead generation tools
Ability to achieve sales objectives including calls and email outreach/week goals, manage expectations, prioritize needs and stay motivated in a results-oriented, evolving entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional communication, presentation and phone skills—with breadth of ability, persistence and confidence to drive new customer engagement, while representing par8o’s culture and mission
Proven sales prospecting record utilizing Hubspot or similar platforms
Success in supporting remote sales executives
Flexible, creative & fun—self-starter with ability to roll with changes in a fast-paced, emerging growth environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Willingness to do whatever is needed to grow the business, even if it’s outside of exact role
Boston-based preferred but not required
