Responsible for providing advanced administrative support for the Vice President, Geisinger Health Foundation and Institutional Advancement team.
Ensures advanced administrative activities provide efficiency and organization for these positions. Provides advice and counsel related to administrative activities with the Geisinger Health Foundation. Serves as primary liaison for principals with system staff and representatives from external organizations as well as GHSF Board Members and the highest level of donors to the System.
Performs duties to support the mission, vision, and values of the system.
Reports to the Vice President, Geisinger Health Foundation.

Demonstrates advanced understanding of principles, concepts and departmental/organizational policies with the ability to manage projects and carry out complex or sensitive assignments.
Demonstrates competence in written, oral and electronic communication skills (interpersonal/communication and technological effectiveness competencies).
Demonstrates ability to work independently, shows self-motivation and able to manage multiple activities in a calm and efficient manner.
Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively with other support staff and under significant time pressures.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in Business, Secretarial, or related field preferred.
Minimum five years administrative experience required.
Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Flexibility with hours required.
Work is typically performed in an office environment.
Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds involved.
