The Director maintains and directs a qualified staff of EVS workers and supervisors to ensure that cleaning standards are met including EVS issues, trends, new products and techniques. They will assume that the efficient and effective operations of the EVS Department by consulting with other hospital personnel to review needs and by managing the operation and capital budgets consistent with the mission and vision of the hospital. They will oversee and coordinate contracted services for waste disposal, pest control, plant service, glass cleaning and cleaning of office buildings. They also over see the operational aspect of Hazardous Materials Management and Waste Stream Management, including collection, preparation, stating and disposal of hazardous materials.
Continue to grow and motivate a large EVS staff to uphold the best cleaning standards and services.
Bachelors degree. 3-5 Years of Hospital EVS Management Experience. Strong interpersonal skills, team building skills and able to motivate and coach others. Must have outstanding team skills to work with other Hospital Management.
