The Director will serve an essential role as part of the Business Development team located in the Palm Beach Market. Reporting to the VP of Business Development, this individual will lead the Palm Beach market's analytics team and also lead specific projects pertaining to growth, analytics and planning.
The Director will utilize a variety of Tenet data tools including but not limited to: S2K, Showcase, PDR, Crimson Market Advantage, in support of the analytical process and reporting. The Director will not only produce a variety of reports and analyses in support of the initiatives for the BD Team but will be charged with helping to shape strategy based on analysis. Responsibilities will also include tracking managing ongoing initiatives, coming up with new opportunities, and/or organizing the gathering of data so that others may identify opportunity. This Director will participate and support all BD including, but not limited to implementation, service line planning and deployment, and new business opportunities at the region and individual hospital level.
Up to 25% travel.
BA/BS required, MBA or MHA desired but not required.
Seven years of experience in either consulting or the health care provider industry focused on data management and analysis or similar robust analytical experience.
General knowledge of hospital and ambulatory operations, clinical and financial systems preferred. Advanced database and Excel skills are a must, as well as solid working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process interviews and observations into actionable recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal skills; a dedicated listener, comfortable in a variety of settings dealing with diverse constituencies; a broad thinker. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. Good presentation skills and comfort in front of an audience are preferred.
Ability to work well under pressure, with minimal guidance, successfully prioritizing projects and effectively managing time and tasks, achieving optimum results.
