Responsibilities

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire a NGS Scientist to join their Technology Center for Genomics & Bioinformatics. In this key role, you will primarily work on 10x Genomics single cell sequencing, illumina NGS sequence and spatial gene expression.

Qualifications

•Must be adept at a wide range of molecular biology skills, including DNA and RNA extraction, reverse transcription, in vitro transcription, PCR, QRT-PCR
•Must have excellent attention to detail with ability to handle multiple tasks
•Experience with NGS sequencing is highly preferred
•PhD in molecular biology, genetics, or biotechnology is preferred
