Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for an architect and security professional with extensive cloud security experience to join the Technology Division at MSK. In this fast-paced and growing organization, where we foster an environment of continuous innovation, you will play a major role in securing MSKs cloud platforms while ensuring that scalable solutions are made available to meet various critical business needs.

You Will!

• Act as the SME for secure cloud design and be an integral part of designing, implementing, and securing MSKs cloud environments in order to foster and enable innovation across the organization.
• Perform technical security assessments, penetration tests, and security audits of cloud architecture, applications, and supporting processes
• Define, build, and manage the processes and technologies vital to protecting MSKs cloud environments.
• Communicate cloud platform vulnerabilities and mitigation options to partners that balance business agility with security
• Establish polices & standards that guide builders to meet security requirements

You are!

• Backed by 7+ years demonstrated ability (or equivalent knowledge) in a security role, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
• Deeply knowledgeable of Azure and or AWS IAM, least-privilege access, security groups, VPCs and AWS networking standard methodologies, and web applications security practices
• Passionate about DevSecOps and promoting security culture across the company
• Comfortable with standard networking concepts and technologies, including virtual private networks (VPNs), IPsec, SSL/TLS, LDAP and public key infrastructure (PKI)
• Always hungry to learn more and expand your skillset to new platforms and technologies.
• Equipped with a knowledge of industry best practices when it comes to cloud security
• Experienced with common scripting and automation tools such as Bash and Python
