Under the direction of the Recruitment Manager/ Senior HR Director, the Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment activities and programs to meet the hospital's needs, as well as developing a pipeline of talent for anticipated needs. This position will handle senior level recruitment including but not limited to leadership positions, Physicians, and Advanced Practice Providers. The Sr. collaborates with hiring leaders to support all full-cycle recruitment needs including strategies to identify top talent through cost effective measures. The Sr. will provide input into staffing strategies, recruitment and retention programs and more, based on identified trends. The Sr. will act as a brand ambassador within the community through collaboration with local and other partners, ensuring strong community relationships are always maintained; this may include presentations to inspire future healthcare professionals. This also includes regular attendance at local and regional employment events. The Sr. will review direct applicants as well as source candidates through various government and social media platforms. The Sr. will leverage available technology solutions to ensure efficiencies in all processes within the applicant tracking system, and other platforms. The Sr. will generate e-blasts and mailers when appropriate, and actively participate in the interviewing of applicants to provide input and recommendations to the hiring managers. The Sr. will be well versed in the organization’s total compensation package, with the ability to clearly communicate to all candidates. Will also create and conduct training for other HR teammates to ensure competence in all areas. This position will also be responsible for proposing new and innovative ideas to enhance processes, systems and new hire experiences. This position will monitor healthcare industry specific trends and work with applicable parties on proposed changes as needed to adapt. The Sr. will be well versed in Joint Commission and AHCA regulatory requirements related to employment and lead any process improvement and audit measures necessary. All assigned tasks will be in accordance with local, federal and state employment laws, including but not limited to, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, the Civil Rights act of 1964, Workers Compensation and Unemployment.
