You are a “Make It Happen” person who take ownership for everything you do
Accountability is important to you — it’s your commitment to yourself to be a person whom others can rely on. Our community hospital appreciates the timeliness with which you get things done and the solid product you deliver. Like yours, we need exploratory minds to help develop solutions that set the future course of the residency program structure for the OB/GYN Department.
What you will do:
Working collaboratively with Program Director and faculty, you will take responsibility for the overall management of the OB/GYN residency program including planning, developing, and implementing residency/fellowship program, and quality improvement activities to ensure medical students get the education they need to be successful physicians. You’ll be the primary contact for our residents regarding all inquiries related to the program, as you:
Coordinate/distribute all resident schedules including events, rotations, educational seminars, and library privileges; as well as assist with their applications for accredited medical licensure and board examination certifications
Oversee admissions, onboarding, orientation, hospital-wide graduation, teaching conferences, group interview sessions, internal reviews, Clinical Competency and Program Evaluation Committee meetings
Attend ACGME-regulated meetings, take minutes, prepare evaluations and presentations
Organize and prepare site visits, submit forms for residency verification, and ensure program continue to meet accreditation standards
Assess technology needs, update residency manual, and activate/update online residency program systems and NRMP
What you’ve got:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in residency program systems, including GME Track, FREIDA, CREOG, ADS and ERAS
Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships within the department and with residents
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and analytical skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
New ideas keep us forward-thinking. We want to hear yours!
If you can’t help but notice ways to streamline a process or improve your work experience in many ways, we want to meet you. We have found that the best way to move forward is to be open to suggestions from people who do the work themselves. If you can listen to ideas as well as contribute to the discussion… if you value a culture that supports new ideas rather than one that stifles them… join us. We listen.
