The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine Huntsville Regional Medical Campus (HRMC) invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychiatry, non-tenure earning. This is a full-time, physician faculty position. Faculty are charged with promoting the School’s mission of education, service, and scholarly activity in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Psychiatry Department provides clinical training for 3rd and 4th year medical students (4-6 per rotation). The residency programs on campus include Family Medicine and Internal Medicine that train a total of 60 residents. Candidates must have an MD/DO degree, board certified/eligible in Psychiatry, proven clinical expertise and a love for teaching. The candidate must qualify for licensure in Alabama, medical staff privileges at Huntsville Hospital, and credentialing with CMS as a physician provider.
