Senior Financial Manager - Office of the Physician-In-Chief (PIC)

The Office of the Physician-In-Chief (PIC) has a pivotal, new Senior Financial Manager opportunity! In collaboration with senior leadership, work closely with the Director of the Office of the PIC and to the PIC, providing administrative, analytical, financial, and operational support.

You will:

• Plans, develops, and provides guidance for the fiscal management of the MSK Clinical enterprise at the direction of the PIC
• Oversees financial operations of the Office of the PIC.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure all things related to faculty compensation (practice plans, fund distribution, etc...) are aligned with institutional priorities.
• Along with the Director, advises the PIC on financial implications related to new programmatic initiatives. Recommends and implements improvements/changes as needed.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years experience working in a hospital, with financial management and physician compensation experience (8 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree).
• Ability to use specialized knowledge and significant job-related experience to handle complex work assignments.
• Information management skills to communicate, explain, interpret, share, and/or present information to employees and management staff at MSKCC and appropriate external contacts.
• Strong analytical capabilities including survey design/decision modeling to research and consult on hospital-based projects are a strong plus.
• Administrative skills required include prioritization, project management, operational and financial oversight.
• MD Compensation experience preferred.
