JOB SUMMARY
This Learning Specialist coordinates projects and programs in the department with occasional guidance. The Learning Specialist supports and manages programs, events, initiatives, consultants and team with project management, scheduling, evaluation to ensure effective outcomes and optimum experiences for customers. This position also requires someone who has excellent customer service skills, experience working with individuals across multiple employee levels (front line to C-Suite), is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, has experience in a Learning Management System (VUMC uses Absorb) and is a team player. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the eStar training center including assisting new employees with training set up, printing materials, troubleshooting, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensures the proper communications, systems technology, equipment and facilities to support department events and solutions.
* Provides logistical support and administrative management for employee learning or engagement events.
* Provides support to project teams in one or more of the following areas: Learning Design, Learning Development, Learning Technology, Classroom and Virtual Facilitation, Learning Evaluation and Measurement and/or Workforce and Cultural Engagement.
