Overview We are looking for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as PMO Supervisor supporting impeccable delivery and helping guide our teams through agile and digital transformation. Primary responsibilities include oversight of contract project management staff, owning relationships with sourcing partners, and collaboration with other department leaders to effectively meet commitments and support goal achievement. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, be well organized and able to work under pressure. Responsibilities/Job Description - Team Leadership : Provide direction and day to day leadership to team members. Span of control will be primarily with our contract workforce but will also include a small number of internal staff. Develop and maintain high performing and engaged team members through effective hiring, onboarding, coaching, and talent management. Foster a collaborative and success-oriented environment where team members are empowered and accountable.
- Demand Management : Partner with PMO Managers to support the execution of a demand management strategy to effectively forecast, plan and manage the demand based on business need, priority, scope, cost, and skills. Prioritize requests to ensure highest value work is delivered first. Support PMO sourcing strategies to fill identified skill gaps.
- High Quality Delivery: Contribute to fulfillment of organizational strategies and objectives by overseeing delivery of multiple technology projects, ensuring solutions meet budget and deadline commitments and are high quality, cost effective and implemented in a sustainable manner.Manage escalated communications, decisions, risks and issues to IT and business leaders in a timely manner so that schedules are not impacted. Continuously work with the team to assess and improve the health of projects, including p erforming project reviews to ensure contract PMs are adhering to process and are aligned to overarching PMO approach and strategy.
- Agile Transformation : Be an active leader in our ongoing agile transformation, supporting the concepts, tools and mindset of agile delivery. Evangelize agile and promote organizational understanding of agile roles. Lead and coach teams and individuals to transition from waterfall to Agile . With the right experience, there is opportunity to be at the forefront of this work, helping to drive implementation.
- Best Practices and Continuous Improvement : Incorporate industry best practices for services provided to deliver operational excellence. Ensure compliance with IT PMO standards, practices and methodologies. Actively champion the continuous improvement of project management best practices, using innovative ideas to increase effectiveness of the overall IT PMO.
- Vendor Management : Responsible for managing interactions with suppliers of hardware, software, and services. Includes identifying potential solutions and problem management, as well as assisting with negotiations and ownership of contracts.
- Performance Measurement : Manage results through metric driven goals and objectives. Define, track and measure team performance and metrics, identifying opportunities to gain efficiencies. Monitor external and internal customer feedback to measure performance and identify best practices to drive process improvement. Complete and distribute reports, models, status updates, statistics, and so forth to leadership as required. Provide proper escalation to leadership for issues as necessary. Measure client service levels through performance scorecards and feedback sessions with key business partners.
- Communication and Change Management : Facilitate effective communication between customers, support and delivery teams.Support change management needs of teams to ensure user readiness at time of release. Proactively lead through organizational change to help the team transition from current state to future state and achieve required business results. Lead by example and model positive behaviors.

Qualifications Required Education - Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training
Experience - 3-5 years of IT project management experience, working on a variety of projects varying in size, budget and complexity
- Experience delivering results in an agile delivery environment, either directly or indirectly
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Strong customer orientation and responsiveness
- End to end understanding of full IT and software development lifecycle
- Ability to work with a range of technical staff, operational partners and architects to develop joint solutions
- Problem solving facilitation for groups with varying needs and priorities. Must be able to find creative ways to influence others to accomplish objectives in a timely manner
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work, demonstrating flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Excellent analytical skills
Preferred Experience - Experience within the Healthcare Industry
- Experience in a large, complex organization
- 1 year experience supervising a team
License/Certification/Registration - PMP Certification
- CSM or equivalent agile certification
