JOB SUMMARY:
This SharePoint Online & Power Platform Architect / Administrator develops the design, creation, and management of enterprise platform Architecture, under occasional guidance. The SharePoint Online & Power Platform Architect / Administrator provides information for integrating the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that support business processes and data. Ensures key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms impacting the organization's ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance targets. Designs, develops, enhances and maintains processes. Helps with planning of strategic, tactical and operational initiatives. Participates in the implementation of projects.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting all components of the SharePoint Online systems including all related applications and services.
- Expert knowledge of building web parts, apps, page layouts and content types using the O365 API
- Experience developing modern apps for SharePoint Online.
- Experience migrating/converting on-premise SharePoint content to Microsoft 365
- Understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, Power Automate and PowerBI.
- Providing core SharePoint Online guidance, excellent communication skills
- Provide both consultancy and support to site and business owners
- PowerShell experience, and ability to understand other scripting languages
- Relative certifications and experience a plus

- Assists with Strategic Planning and short- and long-term roadmaps.
- Assists in maintaining efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications and services.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:
AD HOC REPORTING - (NOVICE): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully access information and prepare reports of moderate difficulty. Has demonstrated knowledge of basic databases and other sources of information to design and present reports.
CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING - (INTERMEDIATE): Demonstrates a conceptual and business understanding of configuration management, planning and related topics. Able to quickly and accurately discuss the impact of new technology, platforms, and design criteria. Understands and monitors key business indicators as they may apply to enhancements of the system. Able to communicate with users and customers regarding configuration for business functions in an easily understandable manner. Participates or develops multi-faceted configuration plans.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES (INTERMEDIATE): Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the new technology and its impact on the systems infrastructure of the company. Demonstrates acute knowledge of industry trends, promising technologies, competitors' products and services, regulations and legislation impacting the company. Attends industry seminars and forums on a regular basis. Successfully investigates, evaluates, recommends and implements new technology to meet requirements of state-of-the-art systems and projects.
PROBLEM MANAGEMENT (ADVANCED): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in Incident Tracking and Problem Reporting in challenging and complex situations. Clearly articulates incidents and problems in a way that improves chances of quick resolution. Provides solutions that improve the design and architecture of the system. Makes recommendations that are creative and imaginative while setting a standard for others. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE (INTERMEDIATE): Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully developing or supporting applications for the product without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to educate and train others regarding the process.
