The Digital Team Leader will lead the day-to-day and longer-term strategy on key projects. The Leader will identify and solve key strategic problems and help the wider team deliver innovative, effective work. The Digital Team Leader is responsible for managing Digital Team members and projects that include creating different types of website, social media and multimedia content and plans, the ChristianaCare websites and other digital and social media campaigns. The Leader will have experience in creating, designing and deploying plans for engaging and measurable digital and multi-media content and websites that enhance the ChristianaCare mission and brand experience. The Digital Team Leader will manage multiple projects simultaneously, including company initiatives such as digital collaborations with other departments, analytics and reporting projects and other select projects, all while successfully managing client expectations and enhancing the visibility and reputation of ChristianaCare. The Leader will have a keen eye for detail, high working standards and a proactive approach to online content creation and delivery methods.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver the highest quality solutions that live up to our principle of creating 'valuable ideas.'
Creating strong relationships with both internal departments, other agencies and clients alike.
Using past experience to develop macro perspectives on the category, business, consumer segment(s) and brand.
Create an environment on projects that encourages creative thinking and problem solving.
A first point of call for key stakeholders and internal teams on day-to-day questions about project strategy.
Demonstrate the ability to champion change by building commitment and support to innovative ideas.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of data, trends and insights.
Ensure learnings are shared across the wide portfolio, creating greater consistency.
Support the Digital & Creative Services Director in managing and developing other members of the team.
Deliver thought leadership in the digital space.
Develop and deploy the online website plan for ChristianaCare including: christianacare.org, social media sites and other website-related projects and digital properties.
Develop and own production delivery timelines and follow process (RACI) and workflow for review of content, deadlines and schedules.
Perform assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, advertising liberal arts, journalism or PR or equivalent education in a related field.
Ten years' experience in working with Websites and/or digital projects. Extensive experience in either content, communications, brand and digital product, platform, experience development projects. Previous experience in digital agencies, digital product development or digital marketing
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of website content creation and development.
Knowledge of web usability techniques and principles of website design.
Knowledge of web analytics. Keeps up-to-date with digital innovation and new digital platforms.
Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Cloud products such as Photoshop,
Knowledge and familiar with CMS and DXP systems such as WordPress and Adobe Experience Manager.
Knowledge of our business, consumers and the marketplace.
Knowledge of brands and branding.
Knowledge of the different categories of measures and when to use, e.g., interim, sales, ROI, digital.
Knowledge of community management and social media.
Ability to define and reframe problems.
Ability to generate and create insights that guide our strategic plans.
Ability to write succinct, inspirational briefs which allow for creative springboard whether for products, platforms, spaces, communications or services.
Ability to develop strategic plans with proven track record of successfully delivering strategic projects.
Ability to pay attention to detail and high working standards for high quality asset management.
Ability to deploying house-styles for content and assets.
Ability to supervise out-of-house photographers, designers, and audio and video producers.
