Motivate the data specialists to complete projects efficiently
Simplify, communicate and present complex, technical deliverables to all levels of staff – executives, management, as well as external contacts, consultants, and physicians – both written and verbally
Work together with other departments across the organization to identify and refine opportunities for data-driven features.
Lead efforts to streamline workflow of all 3 divisions through the development and implementation of automated processes
Consistently communicate data science team’s status of project deliverables
Measure historical performance and apply learnings to forecast future market trends and utilization behavior
Use critical thinking and analytical skills to create models for services or products that do not have publicly reported data
Identify relevant algorithms and processes for data-driven solutions; code those identified to produce actionable results
Design, build, and extract large and complex data sets while thinking strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design
Structure analysis with efficiency and repeatability in mind
Document and share thought process, code, and conclusions
Perform exploratory data analysis to provide insight into business questions; summarize in graphs, charts, or other visual representations
Provide analysis and statistical data the organization can use to make operational changes, target specific goals and refine processes
Work effectively at both detail and big-picture levels and to drive projects forward
Conduct oneself professionally, maintain confidence and confidentiality as well as integrity and objectivity

What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in a quantitative or computing field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or Industrial Engineering
Comprehensive knowledge of modern data science and product/web analytics tools and techniques, including Python and associated data science ecosystem, and Machine Learning
Broad knowledge and understanding of advanced statistical, machine learning, and/or data mining techniques
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Ability to mentor, lead, and coach a small team of data scientists while still completing projects of his/her own
Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems
Experience working with and creating databases and data visualization tools using all relevant data to inform decisions.
Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills
Ability to use advanced statistical modeling techniques to convert data into actionable market insights
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think and act strategically
Superb communication skills explaining complex quantitative models to Network Development, Marketing, and other Senior Executives within AdventHealth
Achieve defined project goals within customer deadlines; proactively communicate status and escalate issues as needed
Comfortable using varied platforms and applications such as SQL, Python, and R
