Market Development Manager (Convenient Care & Pharmacy Services)
JOB SUMMARY: Develops and coordinates the implementation of comprehensive retail healthcare marketing strategies to promote and grow our Convenient Care services in Tennessee: Vanderbilt Health Clinic at Walgreens and Vanderbilt Walk-In Clinics. This role also manages our inpatient, outpatient, specialty and transplant pharmacies. Analyzes market data and trends to inform our marketing strategies. Generates metrics for executive reporting and utilizes data in decision-making. Coordinates development of promotional activities and events to support program goals and objectives.
Implements and manages digital marketing campaigns, including email, marketing automation, digital search, display, social media campaigns, advertising, out-of-home, and traditional marketing, direct mail, and development of print collateral.
Monitors effectiveness of marketing initiatives including patient acquisition, patient engagement, referral patterns, and financial performance of campaigns.
Monitors and analyzes political, legal, and regulatory environment affecting areas of responsibility.
Conducts regular analysis of competitive landscape, including cost and pricing analysis of existing and proposed services, competitive pricing, and reimbursement.
Production responsibilities to include executing projects, proofreading and creating/ maintaining status reports.
Coordinate deliverables with stakeholders which include internal departments and vendors to ensure flawless execution of marketing plans, events, PR initiatives, and programs.
Work with multiple departments including clinical staff, operations, production, agencies, and our in-house marketing teams.
Compile and manage project timelines and deliverables independently.
Copywriting and proofreading marketing materials for messaging, accuracy, brand consistency, and managing stakeholder sign-off.
Builds and maintains positive relationships throughout the marketing and clinical teams, and agency/vendor partners.
Is a creative problem solver who is customer focused with the emotional intelligence to execute well across teams.

MARKETING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (INTERMEDIATE): - Knowledge and skills in integrated digital marketing, broadcast and print production, promotional and collateral materials, as well as web and social media presence. Demonstrates attention to detail, timeline, deadlines, budgets. Experience with developing and executing retail healthcare marketing strategies.
COMMUNICATION (INTERMEDIATE): Clearly, effectively and respectfully communicates to employees or customers.

Develops reports for executive audiences with an emphasis on analytics and insights to drive marketing decisions.

SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE (INTERMEDIATE): Knowledge of the operation and support of the system from the standpoint of computer operations, network operations, and/or technical support.

Experience: 3-5 years of healthcare marketing experience. A plus includes retail healthcare marketing experience in urgent care or pharmacy.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related disciplines.
