The Systems Analyst provides support and administration of the clinical information systems utilized by the Health System. Primary responsibility is coordinating efforts between vendors, Information Technology staff, Clinicians and departmental staff to install, maintain and utilize a robust and effective technology environment. Duties may include, but not limited to system access and data management, coordination of hardware/software installs and/or upgrades and daily support of system users.
Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
ASCP certification as MLT or MT
3-5 years supporting clinical information systems/applications and/or technical laboratory testing; prefers 5+ years supporting clinical systems and/or applications, project and budget management, Installation of LIS systems, SQL server/database management, and MS Project software
Emphasis on Laboratory training
MS Office Software Products, including Access or relational database technologies
