You Will Be Responsible For:

Coordinates activities between Management Information Systems and the Revenue Cycle departments for efficient application of technology to meet the needs of the departments. Assist in maintenance of department specified E-mailboxes and administration of department wide support E-mailboxes and websites.
Responsible for requesting, supporting, and modifying all levels of computer access for specified Revenue Cycle departments.
Requests authorization and provides technical support for outside entities or vendors with remote access to the internal Florida Hospital network. Liaison for communication within the Revenue Cycle departments at all locations of Florida Hospital, and across departments, to ensure information is shared for effective operations.
Maintains and supports multiple servers and applications owned by Revenue Cycle departments (including but not limited to Noble).
Responsible for implementing new computer applications and ordering new computer equipment for effective data entry and to ensure consistency of Hospital records. Works closely with end users, other Coordinators, Systems Support Manager, IT Manager, Operations Manager, and serves as a trouble-shooter for application problems including writing and presenting Customer Engagement Forms.
Solves software and hardware problems via the phone or in person in an efficient and professional manner. Effectively prepares and presents educational documentation of assigned network, hardware or software systems to enhance the knowledge of our customers and team members.
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years experience in one or more areas in computer related programs, and/or the:
9350 – Patient Access/Patient Financial Services Department
7688 – Revenue Management Department
9344 – Revenue Cycle Clinical Operations
Ability to coordinate, plan, develop and maintain data processing systems for Revenue Cycle
Discretion when discussing personnel/patient related issues that are confidential in nature.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
4-year college degree in Management Information Systems or other related field and/or extensive 5 years of experience and knowledge within Revenue Cycle
Experience in problem analysis with an emphasis in healthcare or business applications
LICENSURE OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
DB2 / SQL / ECF Certification
9350 – Noble Certified

Adheres to Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
