Research Assistant II - Lung Stem Cell Biology
Description Research Assistant II - Lung Stem Cell Biology LAB INFO/POSITION OVERVIEW: The Richmond Lab is broadly interested in the role of the airway epithelium in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Recent work from other labs has shown that stem cell variants that are normally present in small numbers in health are expanded in COPD. This project will evaluate environmental factors associated with abnormal stem cell expansion and seek to understand how these clones alter the local tissue microenvironment using a mouse model. Prior experience in cell culture, preferably primary cell culture, is preferred. Experience in bulk or single-cell RNA-sequencing would be helpful but is not required. Applicants must be willing
