We are seeking a Research Project Associate (RPA) for our growing team within the Breast Medicine Service (BMS) in the Department of Medicine . This position is an integral member of the BMS research team and is needed in order to ensure research program quality and integrity.
Facilitate, coordinate, and track research project progress, perform due diligence and quality assurance/control tasks in regards to pre-screening and enrollment tracking efforts.
Be a point of contact and liaison for the Breast Medicine Open to Accrual Portfolio for staff, collaborators, and supervisors as necessary.
Perform data collection, quality control and data analysis for research projects, databases, and research protocols within MSKCC.
Responsible for performing pre-screening for potential patients across the Breast Medicine Service
Develop and implement methods and tools by which to organize, standardize, and manage pre-screening activities.
Find opportunities to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
Participate in special projects and task forces as determined by management
A High School Diploma/GED with experience in clinical research or applicable experience.
At least 2 years of clinical research experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Project management experience is a plus
Must have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection (including 21 CFR and 45 CFR 46 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
