The Associate Director IT (Product Management) provides overall leadership and direction in the management of a defined application portfolio. The successful candidate will lead a team of Product Managers, Application Analysts, and other staff through the selection, design, and implementation phases both in a waterfall and agile methodology. This position will also be responsible for the integration, maintenance and support of an assigned application portfolio. A successful candidate will be able to facilitate, coordinate, and negotiate with various departments, areas of specialty, vendors, and other internal and external customers and entities.

Provides leadership and direction on the product management and support of assigned application portfolio(s)
Provides stakeholder and customer engagement for assigned business units
Develops goals and objectives for assigned staff based on interpretation of institutional policy and goals.
Ensures the most effective operations of assigned staff through training and development, process improvement and coordination/integration of processes.
Identifies, establishes and evaluates quality assurance standards, programs, and procedures.
