Working under the supervision of a Team Leader, this position provides technology support to one or more operational business units of the PSH Revenue Cycle Department. As a member of a larger IRT team, this position participates in system integration activities, team planning and discussions, prepares sections of team documents, leads small to medium-sized projects, and participates in larger projects.
Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of related experience or (b) six years total of related experience.
Experience with charge capturing and charge flow processes
Understanding of hospital based billing vs global
Understanding of various edit processes and options with Cerner, nThrive and/or other systems
Knowledge of queuing logic
Knowledge of discern alerts and other similar logic to help providers make good charge capture choice
Familiarity with Novitas and CMS requirements
