This Senior Network Security Analyst is responsible for operation of network security enterprise devices independently. The Sr. Network Security Analyst provides security monitoring and participates in network security design projects. Troubleshoots and resolves highly complex network security issues. Functions as lead on projects. May lead teams. Coaches the development of other team members. Implements complex large/multiple network security projects.

FIREWALL MANAGEMENT (ADVANCED): Is capable of evaluating security implications of any company internet-related development project. Has ability to configure and administer multiple firewall devices in a complex network environment. Has ability to determine if a firewall product meets the security needs of the organization. Has detailed understanding of internet standards.
SECURITY MONITORING (ADVANCED): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in Security Monitoring in challenging and complex situations. Proactively manages and conducts research into security intrusion trends, and manages critical security monitoring projects. Evaluates and recommends Security Monitoring devices, tools and software. Has designed and worked with a layered security approach. Contributes to the development of Security Monitoring best practices and the implementation of a comprehensive monitoring policy for the organization.
NETWORK FORENSICS (INTERMEDIATE): Demonstrates mastery of Network Forensics in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering Network Forensics products and services without requiring support and instruction from others.
SECURITY TROUBLESHOOTING (ADVANCED): Demonstrates the ability to identify, locate, isolate, and resolve highly complex problems relating to mission-critical information security issues. Able to make use of the capabilities of both primary and specialty diagnostic tools and analyzers available. Has an in-depth knowledge of the capabilities of vendors to find and fix problems. Capable of finding solutions and answers beyond the area of specialty. Displays the ability to grasp and resolve complex problems quickly and easily. Anticipates problems before they occur or before they grow. Provides a feeling of confidence and integrity while resolving problems.
