As Business Analyst, Workday Payroll you will work collaboratively with the Payroll Applications and Tax teams on planning, development, and implementation of all pay-related projects and day-to-day production issues. Provide production and projects support for the 22,000+ employees and students and organization-wide projects.
Earnings and Deductions
Execute payroll production tasks related to producing gross to net payroll result for employees. These include:
Coordinate with the departments to resolve errors in file format and data
Manage Vacation and Sick Payouts
Coordinate with Finance for Imputed Mortgage Processing
Respond to Inquiries
Analyze and test Workday updates
Enter and audit daily changes to the in progress pay cycle
Provide confidential documentation
Provide audit data and documentation
Provide employment labor statistics
Manage Employee Payroll Payments and Overpayments
Process Off Cycle payments
Net Pay Direct Deposit Bank Issues
Manage Payroll Payment Transmissions
Coordinate with MSK Treasury
Workday Payroll Complete and Settlement
At the end of the biweekly pay cycle, lead the two-day complete process which finalizes pay for all employees.
Perform Pre-Settlement Analysis
Complete the Settlement Process
Perform Post-Settlement Reconciliation
Confirm Transmission of Payment Files
4-7+ years Payroll experience
Exceptional Workday Payroll knowledge
Full understanding of HR and payroll Workday touch-pointsfor earnings, deductions, and taxes and how transactions affect paychecks
Understand compliance with Federal and State tax laws and Department of Labor Rules for the thirty+ states that MSK does business in
