The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include supporting the echocardiography lab, inpatient cardiology service, and the ambulatory clinic.
Qualified candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program, hold board certification in cardiology, and preferably have a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support. Preferred qualifications include completion of an advanced cardiology imaging program.
In addition to research skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training, as appropriate, to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and/or graduate students. Salary is commensurate with experience.
