Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Director of Business Analytics for reviewing internal organizational performance on a regular basis and providing information and reports to the appropriate leaders regarding overall organizational status as well as patient care unit status from a business and strategic alignment perspective. Creating integrated data stores for analysis of implemented plans. Applying standard statistical methodologies to these stores and summarizing results into strategy feedback loops. Analyzing market intelligence and competitor strategies. Continually monitoring the market for innovative ideas. Advising appropriate leaders on market moves and/or repositioning opportunities. Developing and advising leadership of recommendations for customer segmentation and new customer capture. Identifying new business opportunities and reporting recommendations to leadership. Manage one Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst.
Three years of experience in the job offered or a related position required. Must have experience in project management, working in a healthcare setting, training, and mentoring on data integration, use of reporting tools including Microsoft SQL server reporting service. Database development experience using Microsoft SQL server, data warehouse development/integration, and programming experience in Asp.Net.
