Oversees the operational accountability for assigned areas.
Provides administrative leadership support to partnering Directors.
Serves as department liaison with outside constituents and as an active participant in assigned management forums.
Works with department Directors to develop, revise, and audit all department policies and operational procedures.
Develops business plans and oversees the development and implementation of all strategic and tactical operational plans.
Creates and maintains standards, operational activities, and performance measurement tools that meet operational and market needs in operational efficiency, quality, access, and patient satisfaction.
Facilitates a timely problem resolution process.
Oversees the financial performance of all assigned areas.
Develops, implements, and achieves budgets and provides input into business plans, financial pro-formas, and operational contingency plans.
Implements activities and tools that consistently educate and focus staff on key performance indicators.
Monitors all revenue impacting activity by reviewing reports provided by finance, care management, etc.
Facilitates active engagement and communication with department staff via formal meetings and informal interactions.
Manages all employee relations and employee performance activities.
Works with assigned HR Consultant on recruitment activities.
Maintains appropriate staffing levels and mix.
Assesses staff and facilitates skill development for all personnel as needed.
Actively participates in resolving employee problems and conflicts as needed.
Leads and monitors annual staff patient safety education.
Directs and monitors ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with performance improvement staff.
Monitors all incidents and ensures all events are reported immediatelyGuides outpatient care management activities and participates on teams designed to improve care with identified patient population.
