The role you’ll contribute:
The Sr. Compensation Analyst is an individual contributor supporting AdventHealth’s Compensation Center of Expertise (CoE) function. This person serves as a subject matter expert within the Compensation field. Is responsible for assisting in Executive presentations and serves as the primary consultant for HRBPs. The Sr. Compensation Analyst provides mentoring and training to all Compensation Analysts on the team. Seeks out opportunities to grow his/herself as well as bringing items forward from industry or from within the organization that would be of value for the team to know/learn/participate in. This person applies analytical and creative abilities to research issues and provide suggestions for resolutions or improvements to Compensation Strategy and Administration programs and plans. The Sr. Analyst also communicates and performs logistical activities for rolling out new programs and practices, following up on responses from business units. The Sr. Compensation Analyst researches all aspects of the impact of proposed Compensation programs and practices; including job analysis, job evaluation, documentation, benchmarking, participating in compensation surveys, and creating communications for internal and external use. Conducts research to support standardization efforts for Compensation across the organization, including the need for new policies and procedures to support our facilities.

- Serves as the point of contact in the absence of the CoE Compensation Manager
- Assists in Executive presentations, effectively communicating Compensation practices and market analysis data
- Is as a content expert in Compensation practices and serves as a primary resource to HRBPs
- Researches current company practices and industry best practices to strategically formulate recommendations for standardization, policy and program development.
- Prepares drafts of program policies and revisions to program policies, drawing from committee input, best practices and published reputable sources.
- Surfaces items for the purpose of data clean-up and standardization.
- Analyzes the impact of new programs or changes to programs, preparing reports that indicate facility differences and potential impacts including costs, workforce impacts, procedure impacts and communication impacts.
- Serves as an information source regarding pay practices and policies; Provides advice to managers/director on new or non-routine compensation decisions for employees, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related area
- 3 years of experience in Compensation
- Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, especially PeopleSoft, preferred
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), preferred
