This position leads complex technical activities associated with the operation of the organization’s Patient Transport Services. In collaboration with the director, the manager determines long-range departmental needs and develops strategies and programs to meet organizational objectives. This position also assists in the development of budgets, monitors financial reports, and determines best approach to introduce cost efficiencies and productivity.
Bachelor's degree in related field, or combination of education and experience. (Required)
4 years or more of formal leadership experience in either Patient Transport or other logistical area. (Required)
Experience in customer service in a health care environment (Required)
Experience and skill with data collection, analysis and planning, utilizing multiple platforms; particularly with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, charts and graphs. (Required)
Excellent interpersonal skills. (Required)
Familiarity with medical terminology. (Preferred)
