In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
The Office of General Counsel (OGC) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to support OGC's transactional legal work in support of our supply chain organization under the supervision of OGC attorneys.

You Will:
- Assist with contract intake process, assess new contract submissions to determine appropriate workflow, and ensure all documents necessary to facilitate legal review have been obtained.
- Review and negotiate agreements relating to MSK's supply chain operations including purchased services and clinical products, under the supervision of the OGC legal team.
- In collaboration with the business team, oversee negotiation process during the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution.
- Serve as initial point of contact for legal team. Manage the timely and professional response to inquiries received from internal clients and business counterparts; raise and escalate legal issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the privacy, information security, regulatory and other departments on agreements that require ancillary reviews, and policy updates as needed.
- Collaborate with IT for periodic contract system updates.
- Prepare weekly, quarterly, and annual metrics reports. Ad hoc reports as needed.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Schedule and coordinate team weekly and monthly meetings.
- Maintain and enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, workshops and seminars in field of expertise.
- Incorporate changes in MSKCC policy/procedure into daily work schedule and adhere to departmental requirements as requested.
You Need:
- Experience in a legal office; contract management experience preferred.
- High level of comfort with technology and information management tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work well under pressure and make independent decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.
- Excellent attention to detail with good business judgment.
This position will be based primarily on-site (4 days/week) at our offices in New York City.
