The Sr. Principal Epic Clinical Architect – CDS applies in-depth clinical professional knowledge to ensure effective and optimal integration and use of current clinical decision support tools within Epic applications. This position’s clinical degree and associated clinical experience provide the knowledge and soft skills platform required to identify root causes, clarify needs, detect inefficiencies and opportunities to proactively design and implement strategic initiatives within the clinical and regulatory healthcare sphere. This combination enables the Sr. Principal Epic Clinical Architect – CDS to evaluate issues and projects from both a configuration and clinical end user standpoint. This position requires proactive, in-depth clinical knowledge and extensive review of clinical content traditionally out of scope for technical job roles. The ability to analyze these topics while understanding the technical implications enables the Sr. Principal Epic Clinical Architect - CDS to provide analysis and design strategies that are both effective and efficient, resulting in a superior product with maximum return on investment.
