Position is based at University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. The Stead Family Children’s Hospital is a 200 plus bed hospital facility. The Associate Chief Nurse Officer for Children’s Hospital & Patient Care under the direction of the system CNE has the accountability and responsibility for the practice of nursing, the development of nursing services, and the evaluation and implementation of clinical programs and services in the Children’s Patient Care service line in collaboration with the CAO, medical staff, key leaders of the multi-disciplinary team and other management. The ACNO ensures and fosters a high level of collaboration with highly-matrix teams and overall systems environment, providing leadership and direction for all aspects of nursing
