Responds to user issues submitted to IT Service Desk as second-tier support and performs troubleshooting and problem resolution, including effectively engaging vendors and other support personnel. |
Performs dictionary and table maintenance to enhance systems functionality. |
Maintains documentation consistent with clinical systems configuration and related support and usage procedures. |
Acts as liaison to clinical areas and is knowledgeable in various aspects of Information Systems capabilities, functions, design, configuration, and use, information systems and clinical terminology, systems processing, and end user equipment, workflows, and processes. |
Assists departmental application team members in accomplishing all activities necessary to support patient care information system application(s). |
Provides input for the justification and acquisition of hardware/software to support clinical systems. |
Attends clinical systems meetings to update members on project(s) status, as well as to address other relevant issues. |
Performs feasibility studies and cost analysis of system changes; evaluates software. |
Documents and prepares reports of program developments and revisions. |
Maintains a good working relationship with outside consultants and vendors. |
Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. |
