About the role: The Military Program Manager will be responsible for internal and external programming and partnerships within the veteran and military spouse community. This position will partner with Premise Health's Talent Acquisition team to source and present highly qualified candidates for current openings, and for tracking their success for the first year within the company. Additionally, the Program Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing a residency program at Premise Health in collaboration with internal department leaders and stakeholders.
The Program Manager will be responsible for building a candidate pipeline, attending career fairs with networking events based on their area of industry expertise. They will seek to increase Premise Health’s military brand awareness by engaging with the local veteran communities, military installations, and key centers of influence to showcase Premise Health as an employer of choice while participating in and supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging globally at Premise Health
Essential Functions:
Continue to grow our internal Military Program, inclusive of running the Military Veteran and Advocates TMRG, expanding relationships with external contacts, and growing our internal population of veteran and military spouse team members.
Build and maintain a microsite, promote our brands on relevant channels, ensure we are present at major recruiting events and fairs.
Utilize social media platforms to enhance Premise Health’s military branding in support of the military strategy.
Build and maintain relationships within veteran organizations to create and maintain a pipeline of highly qualified veteran talent.
Maintain effective collaborative relationships with various military Transition Assistance Program offices, military installations and other resource groups that support veterans, spouses, and Wounded Warriors.
Schedule and attend career fairs and other community and professional recruitment events to pipeline talent.
Provide support at networking events and career fairs.
Utilize a variety of resources to source candidates including job boards, cold calls, creative online searches, internal job posting site, and employee referral program.
Closely work with Premise Health's corporate and field talent in sourcing candidates for targeted industry concentration across the enterprise.
Manage veteran applicant pool.
Conduct telephone and in-person interviews to evaluate applicants and refer qualified candidates to Premise Health's /field partners and hiring managers.
Ensure second round interviewers and hiring managers are appropriately briefed on veteran talent, prior to interviews.
Conduct quarterly check-in with veteran hires and their managers during the first year; escalate concerns if any arise.
Develop appropriate tracking and program metrics; communicate them regularly to organizational leaders.
Internal education and presentation on the Military Program to gain stakeholder buy in.
Program viability assessment.
Identification of primary purpose of the residency program.
Program development in line with accreditation requirements.
Program implementation and administration.
From time to time, review the strategy and adjust as needed to ensure success.
Support of Premise Health’s overall diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging program

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and/or proven relative experience in recruiting veterans.
3 - 5 years of military recruiting and/or mentorship experience
Preferred Experience:
Expert understanding of military skill sets from all branches of the Armed Forces.
Translating veteran experience to corporate skills.
Experience using social media platforms and ability to network for highly desired professionals.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships, recruit high quality talent, and influence selection decisions.
Strong negotiation skills required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
Skilled in utilizing applicant tracking system programs and career services such as LinkedIn to enhance recruiting efforts.
Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Service in the US Armed Forces a plus.
Experience in coordinating residency programs is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to present information to groups.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
